Flares the raised text outward so it prints cleanly in TPU and thin letters come out stronger. The printing face keeps its size.
Taper on the letters and on the plate sides, so the pattern lifts out of the sand without tearing the mould. Deep relief needs less angle than shallow relief, because the taper is measured per mm of depth and deep letters would otherwise close up.
