How it works

Materials & pouring tips
- Silicone caster: pour into the flexible silicone caster rather than the hard print - wax melts release far more easily and keep sharp edges.
- Wax & fragrance: soy and paraffin both work; wax melts carry a higher fragrance load (up to ~10%) than candles, so let them cure a few days before packing.
- Filament: PLA is fine for wax's low pour temperatures; PETG lasts longer across many batches.
- Cavity depth: keep tart cavities shallow (8-12 mm) so a single melt sits neatly in a warmer.

Yes. Designing and downloading a wax melt mold is free and runs entirely in your browser - there is no server render and no account required to start.
Can I pour wax straight into a printed mold?
You can, but wax releases much better from the flexible silicone caster the generator produces. Pour into the silicone, let it set, and flex the melts out - no scraping.
What size should the cavities be?
A standard clamshell segment is about 30 mm across and 8-12 mm deep, holding roughly one warmer's worth of wax. You can set any size in millimetres in the generator.
What file format do I get?
A standard STL or 3MF that loads straight into any slicer - Cura, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer and others.
What's the difference between this and a candle mold?
Wax melts are small, wickless pieces cast in a multi-cavity tray. A whole candle is a single larger pour with a wick - use the candle mold maker for that.
