Free laser cutter tools
Make cut files for your laser in the browser. SVG and DXF out, works with xTool, Glowforge, LightBurn and any laser that opens a vector file.
- 3D model to layers Slice an STL into stacked layers, packed onto sheets with layer numbers and alignment lines.
- Image to SVG Turn a PNG or JPG logo into a clean one-colour cut file.
What you get
- Vector files in millimetres. The size on the sheet is the size you cut.
- Red cut lines and blue engrave lines. LightBurn and xTool Creative Space map these colours to layers automatically, so you do not sort them by hand.
- Kerf compensation. The cut line is offset for the width of the laser beam, so the part comes out the size you drew.
- Nothing uploaded. Your model and your image stay on your computer.
- Everything runs in your browser. No install, it works on any computer with a current browser.
Which file format?
Use SVG for xTool Creative Space, Glowforge and Cricut-style apps. Use DXF for LightBurn, RDWorks and CAD programs.
Questions
Are these tools free?
Yes. There is no card and no watermark. The files are made in your browser.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download. You do need a current browser.
Which lasers does it work with?
Any laser software that opens SVG or DXF files can use the output, including xTool Creative Space, Glowforge and LightBurn. The tools make the cut file, not the machine settings, so set power and speed for your material in your laser software.
