Which plan is right for me?
Free is for hobbyists making things for themselves - a regular allowance of STL downloads, every tool included. Starter ($9/month) is only more downloads, 10 a week instead of 3, for people who make a lot for themselves: the rights stay personal use and the Meshcast mark stays. Go Pro the moment you want to sell what you make: it swaps the Meshcast mark for your own logo, unlocks commercial rights and gives you unlimited downloads and generations. Founder is for makers who know they're in for the long haul - one payment, commercial rights and every future tool for life, no subscription. If you'd keep Pro for more than about 18 months, Founder pays for itself.
What can I do on the free plan?
Create a free account (no card) and you get 5 STL downloads to start, then 3 every week, across all tools, plus bonus downloads you can earn from the starter checklist. Your exact allowance and bonus balance are shown in the header and on your account page. Every tool and mold type is available. Downloads include a small "Meshcast" engraving and are for personal use only (not for resale), see /licenses for the full breakdown.
Can I sell items I make from Meshcast molds?
Yes - with a Pro or Founder plan, you can sell the physical prints/casts you make. Commercial rights are included while your Pro subscription is active, or for life with Founder. The free tier is personal use only. Reselling the digital files themselves is never allowed, on any plan, see /licenses for details.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account reverts to the free tier and is not billed again. Downloads you already made are yours to keep, but you can no longer sell new items from molds generated after that point. There are no partial refunds for a started period, except under the 14-day money-back guarantee on your first Pro payment. You can cancel in your account or on /cancel without logging in.
Is Founder access really one-time?
Yes - pay $349 once and that's it. You get everything in Pro - no watermark and commercial-use rights - for life, with no future subscription fees. The price goes up $50 every 10 spots; once this round is gone, the next 10 will be $399.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Go to your account page and click "Manage subscription". You can cancel anytime - no lock-in, no questions asked.
