A honeycomb pumpkin for Halloween: two halves round an LED tea light, with a hanging hole in the stem.
A Halloween pumpkin you print flat: two honeycomb nets that you warm and press into halves, then close round a battery LED tea light. It is 104 mm wide and about 60 mm deep, and the light shines out through every cell. Hang it from the hole in its stem or set it in a bowl.
Made with our mesh former. Each net prints in about 80 minutes, with no supports. The press is printed once and makes both halves, because the pumpkin is symmetric. The creases between the lobes come from the press itself, so every half comes out with the same ribs.
Print it in orange PETG for the classic look, or in a glow-in-the-dark filament. The zip has both nets, the plug, the cavity, a print sheet and the outline as an SVG for the mesh former.
Shown as a 3D render of the closed pumpkin in front of the two press halves, not a photo.

No. A tea light flame reaches well over 100 C right above it, and the net softens at 60 to 80 C, so the pumpkin would sag and could catch fire. Use a battery LED tea light; it runs cool and looks the same through the mesh.
Leave the pins unglued. The halves press together firmly enough to hang, and pull apart again to reach the switch or change the battery. Some LED tea lights have a remote or a timer, which saves opening it at all.
It is round on both sides, so it rolls onto its front or back rather than standing on its edge. Set it in a small bowl or on a napkin ring, or hang it from the hole in the stem, which is how it looks best with the light on.
