◆ Meshcast designs
Ready-to-print molds you can download and put on the plate tonight. Every design tells you up front how long it prints and what it is built to cast, so nothing is a surprise six hours in.
How it works
These are finished mold files, not projects. Nothing to model, nothing to configure: pick a design, print it in PLA or PETG on an ordinary FDM printer, and pour.
Filter by what you want to cast. Each card carries the total print time and the cast material.
Every file is oriented for printing, so it lands on the plate the right way up with no supports unless the page says otherwise.
Follow the material notes on the design page. Wax and soap release straight from PLA; plaster and concrete want a release agent.
Want a different shape?
The catalog is the shortcut. If the shape you need is not in it, upload your own model and the generator builds the same kind of mold around it: a two-part clamshell for candles and soap, a silicone formwork for resin, a packing housing for plaster, a core-and-shell for concrete. It runs in your browser, and the file is yours in about a minute.
Each design page links to the exact generator that produced it, so you can start from something that already works rather than from an empty screen.
Questions
Yes. Every design in the catalog is free to download. You need a free Meshcast account so your downloads stay attached to you, and there is no password: we email you a one-time link and bring you straight back to the file.
Each design says which material it is built for: candle wax, soap, resin, plaster, concrete, chocolate, ice or clay. The cast material is not cosmetic, it changes the draft angle, the wall thickness and how the piece releases, so a mold built for wax is not automatically right for concrete.
No. Every design prints on an ordinary FDM printer with a 0.4 mm nozzle, in PLA or PETG. Each design page lists the total print time, the footprint in millimetres and whether it needs supports, so you can check it fits your bed before you spend a download.
Selling the physical pieces you cast requires an active commercial licence, which comes with Pro and Founder. Passing on the digital files themselves is never permitted on any plan. The full terms are on the licences page.
Yes, and that is what the rest of the site is for. Every design here was produced with one of the free generators, and each design page links to the one that made it. Upload your own model and you get the same kind of mold shaped around it.
