A tray of six gingerbread man wax melts, each 51 mm wide, 56 mm tall and 12 mm thick: a round head, arms and legs, three raised buttons, two eyes and a smile, and a zigzag of icing across each hand and foot.
Made with our tray mold generator in its flexible silicone tray mode. You print one part, a caster, pour silicone into it, let it cure and peel it out: that silicone is a bendy six-cavity tray, and the melts pop out with the icing detail crisp.
A Christmas melt for a market stall or an advent calendar: pour them in a warm brown with a gingerbread or cinnamon scent, then pick out the icing in white. The zip carries the printed caster exactly as the tool exported it, one gingerbread man on its own as an STL, the master uploaded to the tool, and a print and pour sheet with the silicone figure the tool measured.

Print the caster as exported, open side up. It is one part, so there are no seams to seal. No supports.
Set it on a level surface. Mix 254 ml of silicone in one batch and pour it into one corner in a thin stream, letting it flow round the raised shapes until it is level with the rim.
Tap the caster on the table for a minute to bring the bubbles up, then let the silicone cure for as long as its datasheet says.
Peel the cured silicone out of the caster. That silicone is your tray, and the caster is ready for another one.
Fill each cavity, let it set, then flex the tray and peel it back to pop the pieces out.

Once the melts are out, brush white mica mixed with a drop of melted wax over the raised zigzags, buttons and smile, or fill a fine-tip squeeze bottle with white wax and trace them. The icing stands about a millimetre proud, so a brush held flat only catches the raised lines.
Gingerbread, cinnamon and clove, vanilla or a warm brown sugar all fit. Most melt waxes take 6 to 10 percent fragrance oil; stir it in at the temperature the wax supplier gives and pour once it has cooled a little.
Yes, if you cast the tray in a food-safe platinum silicone and keep it for food only. Each figure is about 16 ml, a good size for a solid chocolate or a hot-chocolate stirrer.
