◆ Ice
Four little ghost ice cubes per tray, eyes and an "o" mouth included. A food-safe silicone Halloween ice mold you make yourself.
A Halloween ice tray for four ghost ice cubes, each 45 mm tall: a round head, a sheet that flares out into soft folds at the hem, two stubby arms and a surprised face with the eyes and mouth pressed in. The back is flat, so each ghost floats face up in a punch bowl or stands against the side of a glass. Each one takes about 14 ml of water.
It is the same little ghost as our ghost candle mold, shrunk to ice cube size. Made with our tray mold generator in its flexible silicone tray mode: print the caster, pour a food-safe platinum silicone into it and peel out a flexible four-ghost tray. Ice grows as it freezes and would crack out of a rigid print; silicone flexes and lets each ghost go whole.
Freeze them clear for a spooky drink, tint the water with a drop of blue curacao or cranberry, or use the tray for chocolate, gummies, wax melts or resin ghosts. The zip carries the printed caster exactly as the tool exported it, one ghost on its own as an STL, the master uploaded to the tool, and a print and pour sheet with the silicone figure the tool measured.
Shown as a 3D render of the printed caster with the silicone tray it pours and ice ghosts in front, not a photo.

Print the caster as exported, open side up. It is one part, so there are no seams to seal. No supports.
Set it on a level surface. Mix 192 ml of silicone in one batch and pour it into one corner in a thin stream, letting it flow round the raised shapes until it is level with the rim.
Tap the caster on the table for a minute to bring the bubbles up, then let the silicone cure for as long as its datasheet says.
Peel the cured silicone out of the caster. If the silicone's datasheet gives a post-cure, do it, then wash the tray in hot soapy water and rinse it before the first use. That silicone is your tray; the caster is ready for another one.
Boil distilled or filtered water twice and let it cool: that drives out most of the air that clouds ice. Set the tray on a baking sheet and fill each cavity to just below the rim, since water grows about a tenth as it freezes.
Freeze for 4 to 5 hours.
Let the tray stand for a minute, then twist it at both ends and peel it back from each piece. Store the ice in a freezer bag so the tray is free for the next batch.

Boil distilled water twice and let it cool, which drives out most of the air, then fill the tray and freeze it slowly, for example in a small open cooler inside the freezer. The cloud collects in the last part to freeze, the flat back, so the face stays clear.
In ice, put a dot of black food gel into each eye and the mouth with a toothpick, freeze for twenty minutes, then fill the rest with clear water. In chocolate, brush dark chocolate into the face first and fill with white. In wax or resin, fill the face with black once the ghost is out.
Anything a silicone tray takes: chocolate and candy melts, gummies, jelly shots, frozen juice or yogurt for kids, wax melts, soap and resin. Keep one tray for food and make a second one for wax, soap or resin; never swap a tray back to food.
