Made with our free stamp maker, not modelled by hand: we typed PAID into it, picked the rectangle shape at 46 by 22 mm with a 2 mm border ring, and left everything else at the page's defaults. The zip holds exactly what the tool gives you: a stamp plate with a 2 mm raised face and a handle that screws into its back, as one STL, and as a 3MF with the face, plate and handle as separate coloured parts.

What you need

  • A stamp pad in the colour you like (water-based for paper, pigment or solvent for glossy card)
  • About 10 g of filament: TPU 95A for the plate gives the best print, PLA or PETG work too
  • Paper, card, kraft bags or tags to stamp on

How to use it

  1. Print both parts as exported: the plate face down on the bed, the handle standing on its foot, no supports.

  2. Screw the handle into the back of the plate until it is snug.

  3. Tap the face on the stamp pad a few times so every part of it is evenly inked.

  4. Press straight down with even pressure and lift straight up, without rocking.

  5. Wipe the face with a damp cloth after use, and store it face up.

Questions about this design

Does the paid stamp print sharply on receipt paper?

Yes, with a water-based pad and a light touch: thermal receipt paper is smooth and takes very little ink. Press once, do not rock the stamp, and let it dry for a few seconds before you fold the receipt.

Why does the paid stamp use a serif font?

A bold serif looks like the old invoice stamps, and its wide strokes carry ink well at this 46 by 22 mm size. The stamp maker has ten fonts if you prefer a plainer look.

Can I print the paid stamp in one colour?

Yes. The STL is the plate and the handle in one file for any printer. The 3MF keeps the raised face, the plate and the handle as separate parts, so a multi-colour printer can print the face in a contrasting colour and you can read the stamp at a glance.
