DISAPPROVED in bold capitals inside a rectangular border, the same font and border as our approved stamp, so the two look like a matched office pair. Stamp rejected drafts and forms, send back a proposal with style, or disapprove of a messy desk more politely than a NOPE would.

Made with our free stamp maker, not modelled by hand: we typed DISAPPROVED into it, picked the rectangle shape at 84 by 24 mm with a 2 mm border ring, and left everything else at the page's defaults. The zip holds exactly what the tool gives you: a stamp plate with a 2 mm raised face and a handle that screws into its back, as one STL, and as a 3MF with the face, plate and handle as separate coloured parts.

What you need

  • A stamp pad in the colour you like (water-based for paper, pigment or solvent for glossy card)
  • About 15 g of filament: TPU 95A for the plate gives the best print, PLA or PETG work too
  • Paper, card, kraft bags or tags to stamp on

How to use it

  1. Print both parts as exported: the plate face down on the bed, the handle standing on its foot, no supports.

  2. Screw the handle into the back of the plate until it is snug.

  3. Tap the face on the stamp pad a few times so every part of it is evenly inked.

  4. Press straight down with even pressure and lift straight up, without rocking.

  5. Wipe the face with a damp cloth after use, and store it face up.

Questions about this design

Does the disapproved stamp match the approved stamp?

Yes. Both were made in the free stamp maker with the same bold font, the same 24 mm height, the same 2 mm border ring and the same screw-on handle. Only the width differs, because DISAPPROVED is a longer word, so the pair sits together on a desk.

How big is the disapproved stamp?

The face is an 84 by 24 mm rectangle: wide enough to keep eleven letters tall and easy to read. Use a large stamp pad (about 110 by 70 mm) so the whole face inks in one go.

Can I print the disapproved stamp in one colour?

Yes. The STL is the plate and the handle in one file for any printer. The 3MF keeps the raised face, the plate and the handle as separate parts, so a multi-colour printer can print the face in a contrasting colour and you can read the stamp at a glance.
