Made with our free stamp maker, not modelled by hand: we typed THANK / YOU into it, picked the oval shape at 54 by 34 mm with a 1.5 mm border ring, and left everything else at the page's defaults. The zip holds exactly what the tool gives you: a stamp plate with a 2 mm raised face and a handle that screws into its back, as one STL, and as a 3MF with the face, plate and handle as separate coloured parts.

What you need

  • A stamp pad in the colour you like (water-based for paper, pigment or solvent for glossy card)
  • About 12 g of filament: TPU 95A for the plate gives the best print, PLA or PETG work too
  • Paper, card, kraft bags or tags to stamp on

How to use it

  1. Print both parts as exported: the plate face down on the bed, the handle standing on its foot, no supports.

  2. Screw the handle into the back of the plate until it is snug.

  3. Tap the face on the stamp pad a few times so every part of it is evenly inked.

  4. Press straight down with even pressure and lift straight up, without rocking.

  5. Wipe the face with a damp cloth after use, and store it face up.

Questions about this design

Does the thank you stamp work on kraft paper and tissue?

Yes. Kraft takes a pigment pad beautifully; tissue paper needs a very light press and a dye pad so it does not tear or bleed through. White or gold pigment on dark kraft looks especially good.

How do I keep the thank you stamp straight on every parcel?

Pencil a small tick on the front of the handle where the top of the text is, or print the handle in two colours. Then you can line it up without looking under the stamp.

Can I print the thank you stamp in one colour?

Yes. The STL is the plate and the handle in one file for any printer. The 3MF keeps the raised face, the plate and the handle as separate parts, so a multi-colour printer can print the face in a contrasting colour and you can read the stamp at a glance.
