A printed tray for five modern concrete house numbers, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, each 95 mm (3.7 inch) tall and 22 mm thick, in the same bold signage typeface as the 0 to 4 tray: stout strokes, softly rounded corners and open counters that stay readable from the street. Together they take about 479 ml, about 1050 g of concrete.
Made with our tray mold generator in its rigid tray mode: print the tray, wipe in release and pour concrete, Jesmonite or plaster straight in, no silicone. The digits are cast FACE DOWN, so each front comes off the smooth tray floor, and the counters of the 6, 8 and 9 are drafted posts that the digits lift off cleanly. The tray is 202 x 213 mm and fits a 220 mm printer bed.
Leave them raw grey, tint the mix charcoal or white, or paint the faces once sealed. The zip carries the tray exactly as the tool exported it, the five digits on their own as an STL, the master uploaded to the tool, and a print and pour sheet with the volume of the set.

Print the tray as exported, cavities up, no supports. PLA is fine.
Wipe a thin film of mold release or cooking oil into every cavity, including the grooves.
Mix a fine concrete or Jesmonite to a thick pour, fill each cavity, and vibrate it out: tap the tray on the table or hold a sander against the side for a minute until no more bubbles rise.
Cover the tray and let it cure for 24 hours, then flex the tray and tip the pieces out. Sand the back flat, and seal them once they have dried for a few days.
To mount them floating off the wall, drill two 6 mm holes 15 mm deep into the back of each digit, glue in 6 mm threaded rod or dowel with a construction adhesive, and set the rods into matching holes in the wall with a 10 to 15 mm spacer. On brick or render, a bead of construction adhesive on the back works too.

No, and it is worth casting both: in this typeface the 6 and the 9 are drawn separately, and a 6 turned over reads slightly off, with its heavy bowl at the top. The tray has both, so an address with a 6 and a 9 comes out of one pour.
Use a fine mix with no gravel, pour a little wetter than usual, and vibrate the tray for a full minute (a sander held against its side works well) so no air stays against the face. Air collects at the counters of the 8 first: brush a thin coat into them before you fill.
Grey digits on a white or light render wall, and white or charcoal digits on brick or dark wood. Mix a concrete pigment into the dry mix at 2 to 5% of the cement weight for an even colour, or cast them grey and paint the faces with a masonry paint once sealed.
