A toadstool candle 55 mm tall with a 69 mm domed cap, a soft rim, seven raised spots and a stem that flares at the foot. The cap overhangs the stem all the way round, which a rigid mold cannot release and silicone can.
Made with the box mode of our silicone mold maker, which the site's own mold advisor ranks first for this shape. You print a base with the mushroom fused onto it, two round walls and two clamps, pour about 473 ml of silicone around it, and get a solid silicone block that flexes off the cap every time.
The zip carries every printed part, the mushroom master as its own STL, the tool's own print-settings sheet and a recipe file that puts every setting back on the generator.

What you need
- About 511 ml of silicone (mix it in one batch)
- About 81 g of wax per candle: each cast is 90 ml
- Tape or a hot glue gun for the wall seams
- A primed wick
How to cast it
- Print the base with the master fused onto it, the two walls and the two clamps.
- Stand the walls on the base, slide the clamps over the corners, and seal the outside seams with tape or hot glue.
- Mix 511 ml of silicone in one batch and pour it into a corner, letting it rise around the master until it covers the top.
- Once it has cured, take the clamps and walls off and pull the silicone block off the master. That block is your mold.
