A wide mountain cabin for the Christmas village: warm brown walls with star shaped windows, a dark green roof under a thick layer of white snow and a chimney. Stand it over an LED tealight and every star lights up. It prints in one piece, standing up, with no supports.
Made with our free Christmas house generator, not modelled by hand: we picked the Tealight house, the Wide shape, star windows and snow on the roof, with the walls in a warm wood brown (#c98f5a) and the roof dark green (#2f4f3a). Everything else is the tool's default. The zip holds exactly what the tool exports: a 3MF with every part in its own colour, and the same print as one STL. Like every free download from the tool, it carries a small MESHCAST mark where it does not show.
Set it over an LED tealight on a windowsill or a mantelpiece, or next to the snowy cottage for a little village. The 3MF gives walls, roof and snow their own colours on a multicolour printer.
Shown as a 3D render of the printed house, as it comes off the bed, not a photo.

Print it standing on its open floor, as exported. No supports.
Clean any stringing out of the star windows and the door.
Set it over a battery LED tealight, never a real candle.

No. The tool shapes every window so its top edges stay within what a printer bridges or overhangs, and the cabin prints standing up in one piece. Print it in PLA at 0.2 mm and clean any stringing out of the stars afterwards.
About 2 h 15 min and 48 g of PLA at 0.2 mm layers, estimated from the files rather than sliced, so a current printer is often faster. It prints in one piece standing on its open floor, with no supports.
It is 92 by 68 mm and 82 mm tall. To change that, open the free Christmas house generator from this page and move the size sliders; the rest of the design follows, and you download the new file in a minute.
