Made with our free keychain generator, not modelled by hand: we typed "Good vibes", chose the Letter outline shape and the Bold Script font, set the text size to 11 mm and the border to 3.5 mm, and picked the two colours. The zip holds exactly what the tool downloads: a 3MF with the tag and the raised letters as two coloured parts, and a one-piece STL. It comes out 65 by 23 mm and 4 mm thick, and prints flat with no supports.

Clip it to a backpack zip rather than a keyring: bright colours on a bag are what make these catch on at school. Printed in one colour it still reads, because the letters stand proud of the tag; for orange and white, a single-nozzle printer needs one filament change, and the print sheet in the zip says where.

  • A split ring or keyring, about 25 mm across

How to make it

  1. Print it flat as exported: no supports, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers.

  2. Multi-colour printer: open the 3MF, each part already carries its colour. Single nozzle: add a filament change in the slicer's layer preview for white at 3.3 mm above the bed.

  3. Let the bed cool before you lift the tag off, so the thin edges stay flat.

  4. Open the split ring with a thumbnail or a small screwdriver and wind it through the hole.

Which filament makes the Good vibes keychain look best?

A bright orange or a sunset silk for the outline and plain white for the letters, as in the file. For a festival bag, try a glow-in-the-dark filament for the letters: it only needs a filament swap at the colour-change height given in the zip.

Can I make a Good vibes only version of the Good vibes keychain?

Yes. Open the free keychain tool with Letter outline and the Bold Script font, and type Good vibes only on two lines. The outline grows to fit, and the keyring hole stays on the left end of the first line.

Where do I change filament to print the Good vibes keychain in 2 colours?

Start in orange, then change to white at 3.3 mm above the bed. Those heights are measured in the file, from its lowest point, which is where your slicer puts the bed; add each change in the layer preview where the new colour first shows. With a multi-colour printer, skip all that and open the 3MF.
