◆ Resin
Six resin pendant blanks per pour: teardrop, circle, hexagon, arch, oval and diamond, each with its hole.
A silicone mold for six resin pendants, each about 40 mm tall and 4 mm thick: a teardrop hanging from its narrow end, a 34 mm circle, a hexagon, an arch, an oval and a diamond. A small post near the top of every cavity leaves a 2.2 mm hole for a jump ring or a bail, so the pendants come out ready to hang.
Made with our tray mold generator in its flexible silicone tray mode: print one part, a caster, pour a platinum silicone into it and peel it out. That silicone is the pendant mold. Resin lets go of platinum silicone with a glossy face and no release agent, and the flexible mold peels off thin pendants without cracking them. The whole set takes about 20 ml of resin.
Pendant blanks are how resin jewellery starts: dried flowers, gold leaf, ashes or hair for memorial pieces, galaxy swirls. The zip carries the printed caster exactly as the tool exported it, the six pendants on their own as an STL, the master uploaded to the tool, and a print and pour sheet with the silicone figure the tool measured.
Shown as a 3D render of the printed caster with a set of six pink resin pendants in front, not a photo.

Print the caster as exported, open side up, no supports. Turn on ironing for the top surfaces, or sand the raised shapes smooth and brush on XTC-3D: the silicone copies every layer line, and resin shows each one on its glossy face.
Mix 128 ml of platinum silicone and pour it into one corner of the caster in a thin stream until it covers the shapes to the rim. Tap out the bubbles, let it cure as long as its datasheet says and peel it out. That silicone is your resin mold: platinum silicone gives resin a glossy face and needs no release agent.
Work in a ventilated room with nitrile gloves on. Mix epoxy casting resin exactly at the ratio on the bottle, stir slowly for three minutes scraping the sides, and let it rest a few minutes so the bubbles rise.
Lay inclusions face down in a thin first layer so they sit at the front, then fill. Fill each cavity to just below the top of its post (all six pendants take about 20 ml together) so the hole stays open, and pass a heat gun or a lighter quickly over the surface to pop the bubbles. Cover the mold against dust.
Leave epoxy 24 hours (UV resin: cure each layer under the lamp), then flex the mold and peel it off the pieces rather than pushing them out. Let epoxy harden two more days before you fit jump rings, hooks or a tassel.

UV resin is faster for pendants: at 4 mm thick, two layers of 2 mm cured under a lamp are done in minutes. Epoxy is cheaper for many pieces and cures clearer in thick clear pours, but needs a day in the mold. Heavy pigment blocks UV light, so use epoxy for opaque colours.
Mix a pinch of ashes or a few strands of hair into a small amount of clear resin, or lay them on a gelled first layer, then fill with clear resin. The circle and the oval give the biggest window. Fill slowly and pop bubbles with a heat gun, since a keepsake cannot be poured again.
The holes are 2.2 mm across, so a 5 to 6 mm jump ring of 0.8 to 1 mm wire goes through easily, or a small pinch bail. Open the ring sideways with two pliers, never outward, and close it fully so the chain cannot slip out.
