◆ Candle wax
A cupcake with a pleated case, three swirls of frosting, sprinkles and a cherry on top. A rigid two-part print.
A cupcake candle 90 mm tall and 63 mm across: a pleated paper case, three swirls of frosting stacked up to a peak, sprinkles scattered over the front and a cherry on top, where the wick comes out.
The mold is exactly what our two-part candle mold generator builds for it: two rigid halves with rubber-band grooves, pry pockets and a pour funnel on top. The cupcake is round, so a seam through its middle releases it, and the sprinkles and pleats are shallow enough to pull straight out of each half. The tool's own seam check finds nothing stuck, and you need no silicone.
A birthday candle that looks good enough to eat, for a party table, a bakery counter or a gift box. Pour it in pink, vanilla or chocolate brown and paint the cherry red. The zip carries both halves, the cupcake master as its own STL, the tool's own print-settings sheet and a recipe file for the generator.
Shown as a 3D render of the printed mold halves pulled apart around the candle they cast, not a photo.

Print both halves as exported. Clamp-strength settings: 4 walls, 40% gyroid infill, no supports.
Drop a tabbed wick into one half so the tab sits on the cavity floor, close the halves and band them along the whole seam.
Clip the wick centred across the pour funnel and pour at 65 to 75 C.
Once the first pour is firm but still warm, top up the funnel. Wax shrinks, and the second pour fills the dip.
Cool fully, open the halves at the pry pockets and trim the wick. Paint the cherry red and the sprinkles in colours if you like.

Yes. Pour the case colour first, just up to the top of the pleats, and let it skin over for a few minutes. Then pour the frosting colour on top. The two layers fuse, and the line lands where the case ends.
Once it is out and cold, touch each sprinkle with a fine brush and candle paint, or a candle paint pen, in two or three bright colours. They are raised, so the brush finds them without slipping into the frosting.
About 140 ml of wax per candle, 126 g of pillar wax, plus a little extra for topping up the funnel once the first pour has set.
